Job summary

Calvary Brighton-le-sands is seeking a Leisure & Activities Coordinator to support the Home Manager and Clinical Leadership in designing, developing and implementing individual and group activities across the home for residents. The role is full-time with shifts 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, located in Brighton Le Sands, NSW.

Applicants should hold a Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent, current First Aid, and experience planning and evaluating activities for frail residents with

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing activities for residents.
• Ability to document assessments and progress notes per required standards.
• Comfort with IT systems and learning new programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Care planning and development of group and 1:1 activity programs.
• Design activities aligned to resident interests and needs.
• Liaise with families to assess and document resident needs.
