Insight Legal Solutions in Nowra, NSW, is seeking a Legal Assistant and Receptionist to join our boutique practice. This hybrid role places you at the front lines with clients and behind the scenes supporting Directors and the broader team.
You will handle reception, diary management, client liaison, file organisation, and the preparation of court documents, with opportunities to learn exposure to family law processes and practice management tools.
Insight Legal Solutions is a boutique law firm in Nowra. We practise in family law, criminal law, and wills and estates, and we are the leading family law firm in the Shoalhaven.
Family law is what we are known for. Our team includes two Accredited Specialists in Family Law, an experienced solicitor, and a graduate lawyer, and a team of dedicated support staff, all of whom are genuinely committed to helping families through some of the hardest moments of their lives with compassion, clarity and good sense. We are proud of our reputation for quality, caring, and realistic legal advice.
We recently had our firm independently reviewed, including confidential interviews with every member of our team. Our people rated our culture 9 out of 10! One of our paralegals even came out of retirement to work with us again.
That is the part of this job we are most proud of. We are a small, close team with no hierarchy and no ego. We work hard, we hold a high standard, and we look after each other while we do it. Flexibility here is real and trust-based, particularly for people with family responsibilities. We also have an office labrador for moral support.
Our office is on Berry Street in Nowra, in the beautiful Shoalhaven. Working with us means living close to some of the best beaches, cafes, restaurants, and national parks in the country, without the commute or the cost of a capital city.
We are looking for a Legal Assistant and Receptionist to join our team and support our growing practice. This is a hybrid role: you will be the first point of contact for our clients, and you will provide day to day administrative support to both Directors.
It is a genuinely varied role in a busy practice. You will be involved in real work from day one, and you will see the difference it makes to our clients.
Your day to day will include:
Experience in legal administration is advantageous but not essential. If you have strong administrative skills, a professional manner and the right attitude, we will teach you the rest.
