Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Understanding of Medical Sciences, Immunology and/or Bacteriology.
• Experience conducting original research and scholarly activity.
• Experience in teaching and learning across settings.
• Experience designing and evaluating teaching initiatives.
• Developing networks with academic, industry and professional partners.
• Experience supervising or mentoring students or colleagues.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Undertake independent teaching in Medical Sciences, Immunology and Bacteriology.
• Design and deliver quality units of study and curriculum content.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary work‑integrated learning units.
• Develop and refine independent research skills under supervision.
• Conduct research or scholarly activity individually or as part of a team.
• Engage in supervision of research students.
• Apply scholarship and contemporary pedagogical practices to education.
