Job summary

Curtin University on the Bentley Campus is seeking an early career academic to advance teaching, research and engagement in HRM, OB, and related disciplines. The role includes undergraduate teaching and potential postgraduate teaching, with opportunities for HDR supervision and leadership development.

You will develop curricula, contribute to learning content, publish in top journals, seek funding, and build industry partnerships, all within a fixed-term, 0.5 FTE arrangement through 2027.

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification in Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, or Management.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses and develop innovative materials.
• Proven record of high-quality teaching across multiple modes.
• Strong research output and a plan to sustain publications.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate teaching in HRM and OB, with possible postgraduate teaching.
• Develop curriculum and assessments reflecting labour market trends.
• Provide academic guidance on postgraduate study pathways.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in leading journals.
• Identify external funding opportunities and seek grants.
• Build relationships with industry partners and policymakers.
• Participate in professional development and service activities.
