Qualifications

PhD in Environmental Sciences (geomorphology, earth surface processes, physical geography, earth surface observation, and/or earth surface responses...).
Demonstrated teaching experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate units/courses in Environmental Sciences.
Demonstrated understanding of pedagogy and curriculum design, renewal, and teaching innovation.
Demonstrated experience in course planning, academic governance, and quality assurance processes, including assessment design and moderation.
Demonstrated leadership, team management, and collaboration skills; ability to coordinate teaching teams and mentor staff.
Evidence of scholarly disciplinary discovery and capacity to supervise postgraduate and HDR students.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Contribute to curriculum development, course design, and renewal of teaching practice.
Engage in academic governance, quality assurance, accreditation, and program review.
Support program-level curriculum reform and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate within teaching teams and mentor academic and sessional staff.
Supervise or co-supervise HDR students appropriate to career stage.
