Qualifications

• Assisting students with learning needs
• Providing individualised behaviour support
• Supporting students academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually
• Liaising with teaching staff regarding student learning needs
• Implementing Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs)
• Maintaining a positive learning environment
• Complying with Child Safe Policy and related procedures
• Attending to needs of diverse student groups including CALD, at-risk, international and LGBTIQ+ students

Responsibilities

• Assist students with their learning needs individually or in groups and provide general classroom support
• Provide individualised behaviour support to students with specific behavioural needs
• Support students learning academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually
• Liaise regularly with teaching staff regarding student learning needs
• Implement Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs)
• Support a positive learning environment
• Comply with the school's Child Safe Policy, Code of Conduct and child safety procedures
• Attend to needs of students with disability, CALD backgrounds, students who are away from home, international students, and LGBTIQ+ students
