Mansfield Steiner School in Northeast Victoria seeks a Learning Support Staff member for the Primary phase on a 1 Year Fixed-Term 1.0 FTE basis. You will assist students with learning needs under the Wellbeing/Learning Support Coordinator and contribute to inclusive education within the Australian Steiner Curriculum framework.

Key duties include supporting literacy and numeracy, maintaining documentation, attending staff meetings, and collaborating with classroom teachers to implement Individual

• Individual and small group Literacy, Numeracy and Social/Emotional support.
• Documentation of support activities.
• Assisting staff with classroom management.

• Highly desirable: Experience and/or qualification in literacy/numeracy support.
• Experience working with students with learning needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mansfield Steiner School is a vibrant, expanding school situated in beautiful Northeast Victoria. Our school presently offers classes from preschool to Year 12, following the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework to Year 10 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma in Years 11 and 12.

Learning Support staff work under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher and the Wellbeing/Learning Support Coordinator. They assist students with additional learning and support needs and may perform the following tasks.

• Supporting students with identified needs and Individual Education Plans as required
• Individual and small group Literacy, Numeracy and Social/Emotional support
• Documentation of support activities
• Assisting staff with classroom management
