Job summary

Catholic Regional College North Keilor is seeking an experienced Learning Support Officer to join our team in a full-time fixed-term contract, commencing at the start of the 2027 school year. This role involves providing vital support to students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive school environment.

You will collaborate with teachers to plan and implement IEPs, facilitate engaging activities, and work with families and allied professionals to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in education or special education.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs.
• Interest or strength in numeracy development.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Facilitate engaging skill-building activities to support students in achieving their learning goals.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff, parents, and allied professionals to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of student progress.
• Participate in professional learning opportunities to build your capacity, particularly in supporting numeracy development.
