Melonba Public School in NSW is opening a new public preschool and seeks a School Learning Support Officer to assist students with diverse learning needs in classrooms and other settings under the supervision of a teacher.

The role includes welfare, health and wellbeing activities, and may involve vision, hearing and bilingual support streams. Appointment may be temporary if completing an ACECQA Certificate III, with start in Term 4, 2026.

Responsabilidades

• Support students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms and other learning environments under teacher supervision.
• Provide welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
• Assist in streams/settings including preschool, vision support, hearing support and bilingual programs.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment and follow NSW Department of Education policies.
