Job summary

Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School in Wendouree, Ballarat, is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our team for the 2027 school year. The successful candidate will support students to grow in confidence and independence and contribute positively to our school culture.

The position is five days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:50 am to 3:15 pm. Further information about duties, qualifications and selection criteria is provided in the attached Position Description.

Learning Support Officer - 2027

Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School, Wendouree is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join our team for the 2027 school year.

Our Lady’s is a small, vibrant and welcoming school in Ballarat’s west. Every Face Has a Place is more than our motto. We pride ourselves on knowing our students and families well, building strong relationships and creating a place where people genuinely feel they belong.

We are looking for someone who is warm, positive and dependable, who genuinely enjoys working with children and who understands the importance of working as part of a team. We want an LSO who will support our students to grow in confidence and independence while contributing positively to the culture of our school.
