Job description

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood. The College is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Being Jewish is not a prerequisite for employment, although a worldview that is sympathetic to the Jewish ethos is essential.

We are searching for a suitable individual for the position of Learning Support Case Manager within the Student Services team at our Lew Family Secondary School in Burwood. The position available is (0.60) FTE permanent part-time commencing on 27 January 2027.

As a Case Manager, you will have an assigned group of students with whom you work, liaising with their teachers, parents and medical and Allied Health professionals to support individual students' learning journeys at the College. Students and their parents also have input into the development of programs and Individual Learning Plans for designated students.

You will maintain and update student records to reflect assessments, diagnoses, files and notes of consultations and conversations with students, teachers, families and external professionals. You will also play a pivotal role in the continual monitoring of students' progress, using assessment data and additional information from a variety of sources and stakeholders, and presenting information on students at relevant Case Management and other meetings.

This role may be of interest to retired educators, educators who would like to return to work without the strict timetables, report-writing and other duties or someone who has a passion for differentiated learning methodologies and experience working with students with additional needs.

You will be familiar with privacy and confidentiality requirements and strictly adhere to the College's policies and procedures.

Applicants must have the following;

A Working With Children Check

A sound understanding of learning methodologies and a strong understanding of how individuals learn differently
