Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.
Our Narre Warren South campus is seeking multiple part-time Secondary Learning Support Assistants who desire to play a vital role in the creation of an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive. We have several roles generally ranging from 3-5 days per week (8:45am-3:30pm during term time), with both ongoing and fixed-term opportunities available. While most roles require a minimum of three days per week, one two-day parental leave position is also available.
Depending on experience and the needs of our students, successful candidates may work across classroom support, small-group intervention programs and our SPARC special education program, or a combination of these settings. We are particularly seeking at least one LSA with relevant special education experience to predominantly support students with more significant learning and support needs within our SPARC (Support Program of Applied Readiness for Community) program.
As an integral part of our school community and educational team, you act as a bridge between students and their teacher and help to foster connections between students and their peers. By ensuring each student receives the support they need to actively participate in school and class, you'll have the rewarding experience of seeing them achieve milestones they might not have reached on their own.
A Working with Children’s Check, and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired.
