Job summary

Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools invites applications for a part-time Classroom and Learning Support role at St John Paul College, Coffs Harbour, NSW. The position is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, commencing 28 January 2027 for the 2027 school year.

Classification is Level 4 (averaged) under the NSW/ACT Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025. Applicants must have NSW Working with Children Check, be committed to the Catholic ethos, and hold Cert III in Education Support.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with children with special needs, including autistic spectrum.
• Awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen.
• ability to document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
• preparedness to undergo further training in aiding children with special needs
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment
• minimum qualification - Cert III in Education Support

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to individuals and small groups.
• Document progress and monitor student outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers in classroom planning and delivery.
• Assist with program delivery in line with Catholic ethos.
