Job summary

Walcom Ngarrwa Secondary College invites applications for a Learning Specialist: Coaching & Mentoring. This senior educational leadership role focuses on building instructional capacity, supporting teachers and leading professional learning across the college.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expert knowledge of the curriculum and exemplary teaching practices across literacy and numeracy.
Ability to coach, mentor and build teacher instructional capacity.
Strong data-informed decision making to improve student outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design and implement evidence-based coaching and mentoring programs for teachers.
Deliver coaching cycles with observation, feedback, goal setting and reflection.
Support staff to analyze student data and inform instructional decisions.
Lead Professional Learning Communities and PLCs.
Foster induction, onboarding and professional growth for new and graduate teachers.
