Job summary

Capability HR is seeking an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Manager to oversee the administration, governance and continuous improvement of our enterprise learning platform, supporting a large and diverse workforce.

You will work with Learning, Talent and Compliance to ensure compliance training, accurate reporting and a positive user experience while driving system enhancements.

This full-time role offers flexible working arrangements within a collaborative People & Culture team.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience administering an enterprise LMS.
  • Strong understanding of learning administration, user management and compliance training.
  • Experience managing learning assignments, user permissions and organisational hierarchies within an LMS.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience building and interpreting learning and compliance reports.
  • Understanding of SCORM or xAPI.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with data governance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day LMS operations.
  • Configure learning pathways, user groups, permissions.
  • Manage compliance training completion tracking and audit reporting.
  • Investigate system and data issues; identify root causes.
  • Maintain learner access and data structures for integrity.
  • Produce compliance and completion reports with insights.
  • Provide first-line LMS user support and escalate when needed.
  • Test and roll out new content and config updates.
  • Collaborate to improve learning governance and platform performance.
  • Maintain system documentation and admin guidelines.
  • Support integrations and future technology initiatives.

Job description

An established organisation operating in a highly regulated industry is seeking an experiencedLearning Management System (LMS) Managerto oversee the administration, governance and continuous improvement of its enterprise learning platform.This role sits within the People & Culture function and is responsible for ensuring the learning platform operates efficiently, supports compliance obligations and delivers an exceptional user experience across a large and diverse workforce. Working closely with Learning, Talent, Compliance and key business stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in maintaining learning operations while driving ongoing system optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the organisation's enterprise Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Configure and maintain learning pathways, assignments, user groups, notifications and system permissions.
  • Administer mandatory and compliance training programs, ensuring accurate completion tracking and audit-ready reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve system, access and data issues by identifying root causes across integrated business systems.
  • Manage learner access, role-based permissions and organisational data structures to maintain data integrity.
  • Develop and produce compliance, completion and management reports, ensuring reporting accuracy and meaningful business insights.
  • Provide first-line support for LMS users, resolving technical issues and coordinating escalations where required.
  • Coordinate the testing and controlled rollout of new learning content, system enhancements and configuration updates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve learning processes, governance and platform performance.
  • Maintain system documentation, operating procedures and administration guidelines.
  • Support ongoing system enhancements, integrations and future technology initiatives.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as financial services, insurance or healthcare.
  • Exposure to HRIS or enterprise system implementations, integrations or migrations.
  • Experience supporting both internal employees and external users or partner networks.
  • Knowledge of digital learning content development and continuous improvement initiatives.
