Job summary

Multicultural NSW in Parramatta, NSW invites an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to lead capability programs across a diverse workforce. You will design, deliver and evaluate learning initiatives aligned to organisational priorities, leveraging Moodle by OpenLMS, Articulate and Canva to produce engaging content.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and delivering engaging learning programs using adult learning and instructional design principles.
• Strong Moodle by OpenLMS administration skills, including dashboards, themes, pathways and resource integration.
• Proficiency in Articulate, Canva and digital learning tools to create engaging learning content and resources.
• Experience conducting learning needs analysis, skills mapping and capability assessments to inform development initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Experience evaluating learning outcomes and using data-driven insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Forms, Power BI and Power Automate to support reporting, evaluation and workflow integration.
• A commitment to continuous learning, innovation and emerging trends in learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Leading learning and capability needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
• Designing, developing, facilitating and evaluating engaging learning programs aligned to business priorities.
• Delivering learning solutions across face-to-face, virtual and digital platforms using contemporary adult learning principles.
• Managing and enhancing Moodle by OpenLMS learning environments, pathways and resources.
• Creating digital learning content and resources using tools such as Articulate and Canva.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Leveraging Microsoft Forms, Power BI and Power Automate to monitor learning outcomes and report on program impact.
• Staying informed of emerging learning technologies, trends and best practice to ensure learning solutions remain current and effective.
