Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Coordinator in Alice Springs to support professional development and training across the organisation. Reporting to the Learning & Development Coordinator, this role will assist with staff development and training initiatives across remote sites in the Northern Territory.

You will bring a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and time-management skills, with

Qualifications

  • Is of Aboriginal descent; identifies as an Aboriginal person; and is accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or the ability to obtain
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, empower others and engage with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to apply sounds organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise and schedule training, work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for the development of workers and aligning learning pathways to strategy and succession plans
  • High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new computer programs
  • Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations

Full-time Contract

37.5 hours per week

$94,282.50 - $109,941.00 per annum

Total Effective Package*

$116,446 - $134,300

About the role
