Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Maintenance and Grounds Officer to maintain Congress facilities in Alice Springs and remote communities. The role requires practical maintenance experience, clean safety record, and willingness to travel on occasion.

$74,139 to $80,320 per annum

About the Role

The Maintenance and Grounds Officer position plays a critical role in maintaining Congress facilities through carrying out a broad range of maintenance and grounds tasks to maintain Congress facilities in Alice Springs and remote communities to a high standard.

• Knowledge of safe chemical use, tool use and safe work practices.

• Ability and willingness to travel to and work in remote Aboriginal communities, including overnight.
• Person of Aboriginal descent; that self identifies and is accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community.
• Current NT Drivers Licence.
