Suncorp Group is seeking a Learning Design Consultant (Instructional Designer) to design high-quality learning products that support our Motor Insurance strategy. You’ll work with a collaborative team and stakeholders to deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions that enable our people to be job-ready and confident in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design and blended learning.
• Proficiency in learning design tools (Lectora, Captivate, Storyline) and Canva/Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, CoPilot, and SharePoint.
• Experience managing projects end-to-end with stakeholders and vendors.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and LMS platforms.

• Design engaging learning solutions using Suncorp methodologies to support outcomes.
• Create detailed learning designs with objectives, evaluation, structure, look and feel, and final assets.
• Deliver instructional design projects, manage timelines and stakeholder relations.
• Provide best-practice advice to improve learning quality and learner experience.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure relevance.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
• Contribute to a collaborative learning community and knowledge sharing.

About The Role

As a Learning Design Consultant (Instructional Designer), you’ll bring your existing skills and apply them from day one, creating high-quality learning products that support Suncorp’s Motor Insurance strategy.

Working with a collaborative team and a range of stakeholders, you’ll share your capability, learn from others and deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions that enable our people to be job-ready and confident in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do

• Design engaging learning solutions using Suncorp’s methodologies, tools, and resources to support strategic outcomes and technical capability
• Create detailed learning designs, including learning objectives, evaluation strategies, content structure, look and feel, and final learning assets, aligned to business needs
• Deliver instructional design projects, managing timelines, stakeholders, risks, and where required vendor relationships to ensure quality delivery
• Provide best‑practice advice on learning design to improve quality, consistency, and learner experience across the Motor Insurance team
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure learning solutions are relevant and impactful
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on data and feedback
• Contribute to a collaborative learning community, sharing knowledge and supporting team engagement

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design and creating blended learning approaches
• MUST HAVE proficiency in learning design tools/applications such as Lectora or Captivate or Articulate Storyline, and Canva and Adobe Premier Pro
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, CoPilot and SharePoint
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end, including stakeholder engagement and where required vendor coordination
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and LMS platforms, with a continuous improvement mindset
