Job summary

Maranatha Christian School in Endeavour Hills, VIC is seeking Learning Assistants to support students under the supervision of teachers in a Christ-centred setting.

Open to experienced Learning Assistants or recent Education Support graduates, the role offers full-time or part-time opportunities within a 3–5 day school week. Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia and support the Christian faith.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Learning Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting student engagement, wellbeing and learning outcomes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to supporting student learning and wellbeing.
• A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and active involvement in a local church community.

The following would be advantageous:

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support or a related qualification.
• Previous experience working in a school environment.
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
