SUMMARY

Lead inclusion. Inspire possibility. Help every learner thrive.

Are you passionate about helping young people discover their strengths, overcome barriers and grow as confident, independent learners? Do you love developing others and turning a vision for inclusive education into meaningful classroom practice?

We are seeking a relational, innovative and purposeful Learning Enrichment Leader to champion inclusive education within our Middle School. This is an exciting opportunity to shape practice, strengthen a dedicated team and make a lasting difference to the learning, wellbeing and belonging of students in Years 7–9.

As a member of the Middle School Leadership Team, you will combine strategic influence with practical leadership - partnering with teachers, Education Support Officers, students, families and specialists to create learning environments where high expectations are matched by intentional support.

You will join a warm, collaborative Christian school community where colleagues encourage one another, relationships matter, and every student is recognised as uniquely created and deeply valued by God.

KEY RESONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

  • Champion inclusive learning, drawing on evidence-based practice and Universal Design for Learning to remove barriers, strengthen student agency and open opportunities for success.
  • Build the capacity of others through coaching, mentoring and professional learning in differentiated instruction, inclusive assessment and effective adjustments.
  • Lead and nurture our Education Support Officer team, coordinating support thoughtfully and developing practices that strengthen student learning and independence.
  • Coordinate personalised support, bringing together student voice, family insights, assessment data and specialist advice to develop and review Individual Education Plans, Positive Behaviour Support Plans and targeted interventions.
  • Shape improvement across the school, collaborating with fellow Learning Enrichment Leaders and leading the implementation of Individual Education Plan processes within Compass.
  • Oversee NCCD processes and documentation, ensuring evidence accurately reflects students’ needs and the adjustments provided.
  • Build trusted partnerships with families and multidisciplinary professionals to support students’ learning, wellbeing and transitions.
What you will bring:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
  • A strong understanding of inclusive education and evidence-based approaches that support diverse learning needs.
  • Experience developing Individual Education Plans and using student information to guide meaningful adjustments.
  • The ability to build trust, lead collaboratively and support the growth and wellbeing of colleagues.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills, with the confidence to guide improvement and navigate complex student needs.
  • Knowledge of NCCD requirements and the legislative responsibilities underpinning inclusive education.
