Job summary

City of Geelong is seeking a Casual Learn to Swim Coordinator to support the day-to-day coordination of the Learn to Swim program. You will assist teachers, organise class allocations and help ensure a safe, positive experience for children and families in aquatic education.

The role involves rostering and coordinating staff, monitoring teacher performance, and providing guidance to ensure high-quality program delivery across shifts.

• Strong organisational skills for rostering and class allocations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Learn to Swim Coordinator in delivering a high-quality, safe and engaging Learn to Swim program.
• Provide guidance and support to Learn to Swim teachers to ensure consistent program delivery and positive participant experiences.
• Allocate and program children into appropriate classes and instructors based on skill level and program requirements.
• Assist with rostering and coordination of Learn to Swim staff to ensure effective program coverage.
• Monitor and support teacher performance in collaboration with the Learn to Swim Coordinator.
