Job summary

Splash is a community-based aquatic program provider delivering Learn to Swim and water safety education in Flagstone, QLD. We seek a dedicated Learn to Swim teacher to plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging sessions for children and families.

Applicants should be organised, self-motivated, and capable of working mornings and afternoons. AUSTSWIM certification, CPR, and Blue Card are required as part of joining our supportive team.

Qualifications

• AUSTSWIM – Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver Learn to Swim and water safety sessions.
• Teach swimming and safety skills in line with Splash programs.
• Apply and adapt appropriate teaching styles for early childhood development.
• Monitor student progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
• Follow facility rules, Policies and Procedures.
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues.
