Job summary

Protech Group is seeking expressions of interest for Civil Earthworks roles on a major project in Kogan, QLD. Positions include Leading Hands, Roller/Compactor Operators and Civil Labourers for 2+ months, with a 15/6 roster and on-site camp accommodation.

Open Drivers Licence and HR Truck Licence are required, along with Civil/Bulk Earthworks experience and a Construction Site Safety Induction Card. Great hourly rates with penalties and daily allowances, plus potential future work on the project.

Qualifications

• Civil experience in bulk earthworks is required.
• RII Roller/Compactor ticket or equivalent experience.
• HR Truck Licence and open drivers licence required.
• Construction Site Safety Induction Card required.
• Recent work history in these roles must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands oversee civil earthworks crews on site.
• Operate roller/compactor as required.
• Support labourers and ensure safety compliance.
• Meet project schedule and site safety rules.

CIVIL EARTHWORKS (LEADING HANDS / LABOURERS / ROLLER OPERATORS) – MAJOR PROJECT KOGAN QLD

Protech are seeking “expressions of interest” to start early works 26th October 2026 on a major project in Kogan QLD 4406.

• 2+ Months Bulk Earthworks


• 15/6 Roster


• Camp Accommodation/Meals Supplied


• Great hourly rates + penalty rates and daily allowances


• Opportunity for future works for this major project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES REQUIRED

• Leading Hands (Civil experience) x 6 positions


• Roller/Compactor Operators x 4


• Civil Labourers x 6


• Civil workers with HR Truck licence x 4

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Civil Experience / Bulk Earthworks experience (Must have)


• RII Roller/Compactor and experience (Required for numerous roles)


• Open Drivers Licence (Must have)


• HR Truck Licence (Required for numerous roles)


• Construction Site Safety Induction Card (Must have)


• Recent work history in these roles (Must be provided upon application)
