Job summary

Barminco is seeking experienced Underground Paste Crew Lead hands to join the Bellevue Gold Mine project on a full-time basis, with a FIFO roster from Perth. You will support underground paste operations, mentor crew members, and help drive safety, efficiency and continuous improvement on site.

Role requires demonstrated paste crew or leadership experience in mining, valid operating tickets including leadership training, and the ability to work autonomously within a team while maintaining site

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor to coordinate paste crew personnel in the safe and efficient delivery of daily underground paste and infrastructure operations.
• Ensure allocated labour, equipment, and materials meet operational targets and site safety requirements.
• Inspect underground work areas to ensure compliance with site safety, operational, and quality standards.
• Mentor, coach, and support crew members to drive operational excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground services and infrastructure including paste lines, ventilation, pumps, water, and air services.
• Oversee underground paste operations including pipe installation, welding, paste flow monitoring, paste wall construction, and remote-operated equipment infrastructure.
• Support broader underground mining operations as required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures

Job description

Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Underground Paste Crew Leadhing Hands to join the team on a full-time basis, working a 8/6 or a 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

• Demonstrated experience working as a Paste Crew Operator or leadership role within mining industry
• Relevant operating tickets and licencesincluding leadership training
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Have a high level of experience and knowledge in training to other crew members.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures
