Job summary

PMM Personnel is currently seeking experienced Underground Fitters for ongoing opportunities at the Kathleen Valley Mine Site. We’re looking for mechanically qualified tradespeople with underground mining experience, including Sandvik underground drills, loaders, trucks or other equipment. This role offers a casual rate, FIFO roster, immediate starts and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining is required.
• Sandvik equipment experience is preferred.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• Ability to pass a Full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Complete scheduled servicing and inspections.
• Maintain equipment reliability and availability.
• Complete maintenance reporting and documentation.
• Work safely in a production-focused underground environment.
• Contribute to maintenance and operational targets.

PMM Personnel is currently seeking experienced Underground Fitters for ongoing opportunities at the Kathleen Valley Mine Site.

We're looking for mechanically qualified tradespeople with underground mining experience. Candidates with experience maintaining Sandvik underground drills, loaders, trucks or other underground mining equipment are encouraged to apply.

Whether your trade background is HD Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or similar, we'd like to hear from you.
