Job summary

Marble is seeking an experienced Leading Hand HD Fitter for a long-term underground mining project in Central NSW. You will spend approximately 80% of time on the tools and 20% on leadership duties, including coordinating maintenance and mentoring a small team.

The role offers an attractive earnings potential (up to $90 per hour + super) with a clear pathway into a permanent position after 26 weeks, and a 2:2 roster with provided accommodation, meals and site transport.

Qualifications

• Underground HD Fitter with leadership experience.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic skills for heavy diesel equipment.
• Current drivers licence and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, planned maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown and general repairs.
• Provide hands-on maintenance across underground workshop and field.
• Lead and mentor a team of HD Fitters and Auto Electricians.
• Coordinate workloads and maintenance priorities to improve equipment availability.
• Support safety, quality, training and continuous improvement within the team.
