Job summary

Marble Group undertakes an exciting underground maintenance role on a major long‑term project in NSW, offering strong earning potential and a clear career path. You’ll be an experienced HD Fitter who also leads a small team, spending about 80% of your time on the tools and 20% on leadership responsibilities.

There is a 2:2 roster with seven days on, seven nights, 14 days off, plus provided accommodation, meals and daily transport between camp and site.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in heavy diesel or mobile plant.
• Experience supervising or Leading Hand.
• Underground hard-rock mining experience.
• Strong fault-finding skills and autonomous work ethic.
• Current driver's licence and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Completing servicing, planned maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs and general repairs.
• Providing hands-on maintenance support across the underground workshop and field.
• Leading and mentoring a team of HD Fitters and Auto Electricians across daily maintenance activities.
• Coordinating workloads, planned maintenance and breakdown priorities to improve equipment availability.
• Supporting safety, quality, training and continuous improvement across the maintenance team.
