Job summary

Horsham Rural City Council is seeking a working leading hand to operate an advanced grader and supervise a small road maintenance crew. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, with authority localised and accountability for work programming and resources handled with the Team Leader Road Program.

• Civil Construction Certification (Certificate II–III preferred).
• Experience in grader operation (final trim) and road maintenance.
• Knowledge of municipal works implementation and supervision practices.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

The successful applicant will have Civil Construction Certification (Certificate II-III preferred), grader operation (final trim) and road maintenance experience. Knowledge and understanding of municipal works implementation and supervision practices is desirable.
