Job summary

JMac Constructions is seeking an experienced Landscape Leading Hand to contribute to its SE Queensland project portfolio. You will work closely with the Foreman to monitor progress, align with drawings and specifications, and drive safe, on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes a Zero Harm safety approach and high standards of workmanship in commercial landscape construction, including hardscape and softscape elements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OHS and environmental requirements.
• Ability to motivate and drive delivery-focused team culture.
• People and performance management of labour and subcontractors.
• Experience as a site supervisor in commercial landscaping.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience on hardscape/softscape projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and drive construction progress to program and drawings, with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Work closely with Foreman to ensure drawings, specifications and requirements are met, upholding a Zero Harm safety culture and delivering projects.

About The Role

To meet our current and future work commitments, we require an experienced Landscape Leading Hand, to work on a number of new and existing projects across South East QLD.

Jmac Constructions has an opportunity for a Landscape Leading Hand with experience in landscaping to contribute to our project portfolio of unique landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with Foreman to monitor and drive construction progress to program and in line with drawings, specifications and health, safety, environment and quality requirements. With safety our highest priority, you will play a primary role in championing a safe working environment with a Zero Harm approach and ensure superior delivery of our projects.

About You

• Understanding of OHS and environmental requirements.
• Proven ability to motivate and drive team culture focused on delivery of client objectives.
• People and performance management skills of labour, subcontractors and suppliers to drive high performing teams.
• Demonstrated industry experience as a site supervisor in commercial scale landscaping.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous relevant experience working on hardscape / softscape projects is strongly desired.
