Job summary

Workday ANZ is seeking a Principal Consultant for the ANZ Student solutions practice. You will guide deployments of Workday Student for higher education institutions, serving as an advisor with expertise in student systems and deployment, while ensuring alignment with other Workday functions.

You will travel as needed and mentor colleagues across engagements. The role requires extensive experience in Student Financials and consulting, with a preference for higher education domain knowledge and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience implementing or supporting student systems (SIS) solutions in the area of Student Financials.
• 7+ years of consulting experience.
• Experience within the Higher Education industry is preferred.
• Experience implementing or supporting Workday Student is highly regarded but not required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Guide deployment of Workday Student solutions for higher education customers.
• Provide student systems, higher education industry, and deployment expertise as an advisor.
• Ensure alignment with other functional areas in the Workday platform.
• Contribute to maintaining higher education standard practices.
• Determine customer requirements and design tailored Workday Student solutions.
• Demonstrate solutions to stakeholders throughout deployment lifecycle.
• Own status reporting and project health for your workstream.
• Lead or shape customer discovery sessions.
• Advise on Statement of Work content and project estimates.
• Escalate complex issues within your specialization.
• Rapidly build Workday Student product expertise.
• Manage multiple engagements and priorities.
• Lead training and enablement sessions across the practice.
• Mentor and support development of junior consultants across the practice.
