Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking an Assembler to perform electronic, electron-mechanical, and mechanical assembly on wafer fabrication equipment in a lean manufacturing clean-room setting. You will follow instructions, use hand tools and fixtures, and ensure precise setup and tolerances to support high-quality Lam products.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, an engineering-related degree, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of mechanical or related assembly experience.
• Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal in English.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
• Proficiency in computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software.
• Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb) to perform job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts/hardware for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) using instructions and diagrams.
• Maintain workflow and production schedules by adapting to changing priorities.
• Perform visual inspections and ensure correct part delivery.
• Conduct audits, leak checks, and document findings.
• Cross-train in multiple work centers and mentor others.
• Identify and disposition Non-Conformance Items and assist with troubleshooting.
• Suggest improvements to work instructions.
• Maintain a safe work environment following PPE and LOTO policies.
