Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Manufacturing Training Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of technical training for manufacturing employees. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust training programs, certifications and onboarding processes that support new product introductions and ramp-ups.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical training within high-tech manufacturing, excellent communication, and a passion for developing and retaining top talent

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years demonstrated technical training experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical leadership, program management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities and a passion for learning.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Directs employee training activities in operator and product knowledge, including course design and documentation.
• Oversees training programs to meet company objectives and maintains stakeholder communication.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of technical training and certification programs across manufacturing operations.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Operations to identify training needs and support NPI, ramp-ups and operational excellence.
• Act as strategic partner with manufacturing leadership to align learning solutions with priorities.
• Manage training systems, records, LMS tools and training effectiveness metrics for tracking and audits.
• Deploy globally aligned training standards, KPIs and records management strategies for the department.
• Coordinate training delivery and ensure staffing for uninterrupted execution, including during hiring ramps.
• Establish role-based competency frameworks, skills matrices, qualification standards and recertification requirements for operators, technicians, engineers and supervisors.
