Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of critical water and wastewater projects across NSW, including Illawarra, Woronora, and Gerringong facilities. You will apply engineering expertise to projects benefiting communities while advancing your career with a global environmental solutions leader.

Responsibilities include delivering capital and maintenance projects up to $1M, preparing specifications, and ensuring HSEQ compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or trade qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver capital and maintenance projects up to $1M in water infrastructure.
• Lead project development from concept through to completion using Veolia's Project Management Standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and manage contractor relationships.
• Ensure HSEQ compliance and lead safety initiatives across all project phases including site supervision.
• Estimate project costing, participate in tender evaluations and maintain financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Drive innovation in water treatment solutions while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Industry leading safety programs with comprehensive HSEQ training.
