Job summary

TAFE Queensland Gold Coast is seeking an Educational Team Leader to guide teaching teams, optimise educator capability and resources, and support student experiences. The role focuses on leadership, programming planning, and ensuring compliance with training standards within the Ashmore campus.

Mandatory qualifications include a Certificate IV or higher in training and assessment, with extensive experience in VET environments.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: vocational qualification and competencies at least to the level being delivered.
• Credential options include: TAe40122, TAe40116, TAe40110, TAe50111 or higher in adult education.
• Current industry skills relevant to the training and assessment being provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and guidance to educators and teaching teams to achieve objectives.
• Oversee educational delivery programming, planning activities and delivery timetables.
• Manage people processes including performance planning and development with team members.
• Monitor training quality to ensure compliance with legislation, standards and frameworks.
• Provide advice and generate solutions for staff, student, and programming issues.
• Report on budget forecasts and assist with budgets and team financial performance.
