Job summary

Otraco is seeking a Site Supervisor for our Rio Tinto operations in Western Australia. You will lead tyre fitting and workshop activities, ensuring safe, efficient service delivery as per the site management plan.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years on-mine Earthmover tyre fitting, a Certificate II in Tyre Fitting, and a valid LF forklift licence, with a strong focus on health and safety and autonomous work capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites.
• Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/AUR21920).
• S26 Statutory Supervisor.
• Forklift LF licence.
• HR Drivers Licence.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
• Strict adherence to site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks for the allocated team.
• Maintain safe, efficient workforce with constructive feedback and safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with site policies and Golden Rules and promote safety culture.
• Provide recommendations for on-site/off-site tyre reconditioning and non-destructive testing.
• Assist with end-of-month reporting to Rio Tinto stakeholders with written progress updates.
