Apex Radiology in Mandurah, WA is seeking an experienced Tutor Sonographer on a full-time or part-time basis. You will lead the ultrasound training program, supervise students, and drive competency assessments while coordinating with the IDX Ultrasound Training Program Manager.

This role shapes capability across subspecialties and supports ongoing clinical practice. The ideal candidate has a Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography (ASAR) and 5+ years as a Sonographer, with strong mentoring,

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography (ASAR accredited) required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified Sonographer.
• Broad clinical capability across General, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Breast, MSK and Vascular.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structured training programs for Sonographers and students.
• Provide hands-on supervision, mentoring, and clinical coaching.
• Support competency assessments and learning milestones.
• Foster a positive learning culture across the ultrasound team.
• Drive quality improvement and best-practice standards.
• Collaborate with leaders to strengthen capability across the business.
