Apex Radiology in Mandurah, WA seeks an experienced Tutor Sonographer to lead and coordinate our structured ultrasound training program on a full-time or part-time basis. You will mentor Sonographers and students, supervise hands-on practice, and support in-house assessments to drive clinical development.

Working with the IDX Ultrasound Training Program Manager, you will help build capability across the team while maintaining strong ties to everyday clinical practice across subspecialties.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography (ASAR accredited)
• Minimum 5+ years as a qualified Sonographer
• Broad clinical capability across General, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Breast, MSK and Vascular studies
• Proven ability to mentor, train and support developing Sonographers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
• Passion for education, coaching and continuous improvement
• Flexible and supportive approach to learner development

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Tutor Sonographer to join our team in Mandurah, WA on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

This rewarding leadership role is ideal for a passionate Sonographer who enjoys mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and helping shape the next generation of imaging professionals. You will lead and coordinate our structured ultrasound training program, supporting Sonographers and Sonography students through hands‑on supervision, in‑house assessments, and clinical development.

Working closely with our IDX Ultrasound Training Program Manager, you will play a key role in building capability across the team while remaining connected to clinical practice across a variety of subspecialties.
