Job summary

Cornerstone Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to step into a Treatment Room Team Leader role at Our Medical Werribee. You will lead the onsite nursing team, support GPs, and ensure high‑quality treatment room operations and patient care across a range of services.

Responsibilities include triage, rostering, stock management, sterilisations, and staff onboarding to maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a medical centre treatment room preferred.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and patient engagement skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Best Practice and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to GPs, including medications, immunisations, chronic disease management, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and point-of-case testing.
• Assist with clinical procedures and patient care.
• Conduct patient triage and prioritise care effectively.
• Lead and coordinate the nursing team within the treatment room.
• Support rostering in collaboration with the Practice Manager.
• Manage stock control of consumables and medical supplies.
• Ensure high standards of sterilisation for instruments and workspaces.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new nursing staff.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant, and high‑quality clinical environment.
