Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a senior planning professional to lead the Wide Bay Burnett District's transport infrastructure planning, options analysis, and business cases. Qualifications

• A four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
• C Class driver's licence.
• Criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the district's planning program in liaison with the Manager (PPCM) and stakeholders.
• Lead the project planning team, consultants and contractors to meet deliverables, time, and budget.
• Prepare submissions and reports on planning and technical issues with mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to public consultation and liaison with community and local governments.
• Provide specialist advice to senior management on planning program aspects.
