Job summary

Macallan College is seeking qualified Trainers and Assessors to deliver construction trade courses at our Adelaide campus. The role involves face-to-face workshop and classroom delivery to international students, with clear teaching expectations and strong interest in compliance and records.

Required are TAE40122 or higher, plus CPC trade qualifications. Candidates should have VET teaching experience, industry currency, and a proactive, self-managed approach to scheduling and resource checks.

Qualifications

• Recent experience teaching in the VET sector (min 6 months).
• Current industry experience and strong trade knowledge.
• Understanding of RTO compliance and operational requirements.
• National Police Check or ability to obtain one.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Experience delivering to international students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom-based training and assessment.
• Maintain accurate student progress and assessment records.
• Participate in assessment moderation/validation activities.
• Audits of workshop resources and equipment.
• Coordinate monthly PPE stock ordering and workshop readiness.
• Engage with industry and complete annual currency activities.
• Ensure compliance with Macallan policies and RTO requirements.
