Transport for NSW is seeking a construction-focused maintenance leader for the Tugun Bypass Tunnel project based in Tweed Heads. The role oversees technicians, contractors and subcontractors, ensuring safe operation of tunnel assets and complex electrical systems.

You will mentor staff, monitor faults, and drive maintenance plans while working across the North Region. A NSW Electrical Supervisors certificate and a valid driver’s license are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Fair Trading Electrical Supervisors certificate or equivalent.
• Current and valid Australian driver’s license and willing to travel occasionally.
• Knowledge and experience in tunnel or industrial maintenance practices.
• Leadership experience, formal or informal.
• Availability to assist in overtime-callouts and be on-call.
• Experience in data collection from field equipment.
• Experience in calibration or testing of electronic equipment.
• Experience in management of electronic computerised maintenance management systems.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot computer problems.
• Advanced communication skills and ability to influence and build stakeholder relations.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of technicians and sub-contractors to repair, test, and maintain traffic management devices and associated electrical systems.
• Provide leadership to traffic signal technicians and mentor the team.
• Monitor fault records and guide maintenance plans and fault pattern analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and travel regionally to support tunnel assets.
