We’re looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Lead Teacher to drive senior curriculum excellence across our campuses, support our teaching teams, and help create meaningful learning experiences that empower young people to succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator who is ready to influence practice beyond their own classroom while remaining connected to student outcomes and applied learning.

  • Work within an organisation that values inclusion, student voice and educational equity
  • Help young people who may have experienced barriers to learning rediscover success and belonging
The role

As Lead Teacher – Senior Curriculum, you will provide curriculum leadership across ECG Secondary College campuses, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance while supporting teachers to deliver innovative and engaging learning experiences.

You will play a key role in senior school curriculum development, assessment moderation, reporting processes, teacher support and school improvement initiatives.

  • Lead cross-campus moderation of curriculum, assessment tasks and reporting practices.
  • Support teaching staff to deliver engaging, differentiated and applied learning programs.
  • Provide guidance on curriculum changes, updates and professional learning opportunities.
  • Act as Lead Teacher – Campus as required (includes student management and chain of command duties).
  • Actively contribute to the day-to-day operations of the school.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students through active adherence to Child Safe Standards and organisational policies.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of VPC and VCE VM curriculum and senior secondary pathways, including the ability to differentiate and individualise educational learning plans.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading others in the process of continuous improvement, reflective practice and engaging in professional learning and dialogue, embracing innovative and inclusive practice.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including experience in leading staff in establishing, and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student outcomes, agency, wellbeing, and engagement.
