Job summary

Australian Christian College Echuca is seeking to appoint a full-time Christian Senior Secondary Teacher to join our growing school, with capacity to teach VCE and other secondary subjects. The successful candidate will lead Christian formation and provide pastoral care within a biblically grounded, academically rigorous learning environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor degree and teaching qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Education).

Responsibilities

About the Role

ACC Echuca is seeking to appoint a full-time Christian Senior Secondary Teacher to join our growing school. As our senior secondary program continues to expand, we welcome applications from passionate and capable teachers with the ability to teach VCE and other secondary school subjects. The successful candidate will need to have the capacity to:

• Actively lead the Christian formation of students;
• Actively lead in delivering Pastoral Care from a genuine Christian faith;
• Contribute to an inclusive approach to learning and a cross cultural understanding in our students;
• Develop an approach to education that is biblically grounded, Christ focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous. Preference would be given to teachers familiar with an Explicit Instruction model of teaching;
• Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop student’s interests, skills and abilities; and
• Contribute to the school community by participating in staff meetings, extra-curricular tasks, and liaising with parents where appropriate.
