Job summary

Northrop Consulting Engineers in Wollongong is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead a range of structural projects from concept to construction. You will work with engineers, designers and graduates in a collaborative team, with autonomy to deliver technically challenging work and engage with clients to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience as structural engineering consultant in Australian market.
• Proven ability to deliver projects across residential, commercial, health, education, and industrial sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor graduates and undergraduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical delivery of structural projects including commercial, residential, fit-out, aged care and educational facilities.
• Engage with diverse clients; attend meetings and inspections.
• Assist with project costings and monitor budgets to meet key dates.
• Mentor graduates and undergraduates; contribute to technical development across the team.
• Develop business development skills including proposal preparation.
