Pathway Search LLC in Sydney is seeking a Senior Splunk Detection Engineer for a 12-month contract to uplift its Splunk security monitoring and detection across enterprise, cloud and operational technology environments.

The role focuses on implementing and tuning Splunk Enterprise Security, building correlation searches, and establishing risk-based alerting to reduce false positives while improving threat visibility.

Qualifications

• Expertise with Splunk Enterprise administration including data onboarding, indexing and search optimization.
• Advanced SPL for searches, dashboards, reports and security detections.
• Hands-on ES configuration, tuning and operational support.

Responsabilités

• Lead uplift of Splunk security monitoring and detection capability across enterprise, cloud and OT environments.
• Develop, tune and maintain correlation searches to detect real threats while minimising false positives.
• Implement and manage risk-based alerting methodologies and content lifecycle for detections.
