Job summary

iterate is seeking a Contract Lead Software Engineer to own end-to-end cloud-based solutions in Melbourne/Sydney, with four days onsite and one day remote. You will diagnose critical issues, design AWS components, and mentor junior developers.

Ideal candidates will have extensive AWS deployment experience, strong Git/GitHub Actions proficiency, and excellent analytical skills. IoT Greengrass experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and operating complex software in AWS.
• Strong fundamentals with Git, GitHub Actions and IDE workflow.
• Experience with AWS IoT Greengrass is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing defects and problems across large, complex, integrated systems.
• Designing and building cloud-based software components on AWS, end to end.
• Breaking complex work into clear, actionable tasks and mentoring juniors.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to shape solutions and secure leadership endorsement.
• Helping raise coding standards and practices across the team.
