Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to join our Engineering Construction division, delivering a major mining and minerals project in South Australia. Based in Adelaide or surrounds, you will lead SMP execution, coordinate with management, supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives, with regular site travel and a 2:1 roster as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading SMP construction delivery on large-scale projects.
• Strong capability in planning, sequencing and short-term planning.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and construction delivery of SMP work fronts to safe, efficient completion.
• Develop construction methodologies, work packs, sequencing and short-term plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors to maintain schedules.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and construction teams and resolve issues.
• Monitor project performance and support cost control, forecasting and change management.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
