The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of major construction projects.

This role is responsible for supervising specific trade packages and ensuring construction works are executed safely, to the required quality, and in accordance with the approved program. Working under the direction of the Site Manager, you will coordinate trade activities, enforce site safety standards, and support inspection and hold point management processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day construction activities for assigned trade packages, ensuring works progress to program and standard.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and trades on site to manage interfaces, sequencing, and access arrangements.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with site safety plans, method statements, and quality control requirements, reporting program risks, safety observations, and quality deficiencies.
  • Complete site diaries, daily inspection records, and work progress reports as required.
  • Manage toolbox talks, site inductions, and workforce compliance documentation for assigned packages.
  • Assist in the identification and documentation of variation works arising within supervised packages.
  • Liaise with the engineering team on design queries and inspection hold points for supervised works.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in site supervision within the building construction industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising trade packages on major construction projects.
  • Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and Certificate IV in Building and Construction or equivalent desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, safe work method statements, and construction site practices.
  • Practical and hands-on site leader with strong trade and construction knowledge.
  • Clear communicator with trades, subcontractors, and the project site team.
  • Reliable team player who supports site management in achieving program targets with strong record keeping.
