At NRI, a leading IT services group with a strong Australia–New Zealand footprint, we are seeking a Microsoft SharePoint Migration Lead to drive a major SharePoint Online and OneDrive tenant migration as part of a large Microsoft 365 transformation. You will own the technical strategy, planning and delivery for a complex tenant-to-tenant migration.

The role requires hands-on migration delivery, strong SharePoint expertise and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the full migration

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading SharePoint Online and OneDrive tenant-to-tenant migrations within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with ShareGate and/or AvePoint migration tools.
• Deep technical knowledge of SharePoint Online administration, site collections, hub sites, permissions and modern SharePoint architecture.
• Experience planning and executing large-scale OneDrive for Business migrations.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint information architecture, metadata, content types and site restructuring.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform integrations, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 security, governance, retention policies and sensitivity labels.
• Ability to lead technical resources, manage migration risks and work effectively with business stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record delivering complex migration programs to agreed timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the end-to-end migration of SharePoint Online and OneDrive content between Microsoft 365 tenants.
• Assess existing SharePoint environments, including sites, permissions, content structures and migration dependencies.
• Develop and execute the migration strategy, including migration waves, cutover planning and rollback approaches.
• Lead migrations using tools such as ShareGate and AvePoint.
• Manage SharePoint content restructuring, site consolidation, information architecture and metadata migration.
• Ensure permissions, security settings and governance requirements are maintained throughout the migration.
• Identify and manage dependencies with Power Automate, Power Apps and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Use PowerShell to automate migration activities, administration and reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex migration issues and act as the technical escalation point for the workstream.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, security teams and technical engineers to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee post-migration validation, documentation and handover to operational teams.
